The wreck of the Creteboom beside the old quay on the river Moy at Ballina.  This ship was constructed from concrete as there was a shortage of steel during the war.   It sank here about 60 years ago when it hit the pier during a stormy night

New Years Day 2012. Beautiful blue skies marked the beginning of the New Year. You can see Ireland's Eye in the distance, and also if you look very closely you can see the lighthouse at Howth harbour.
