Autumn Colours 3

9th November 2012

Oldbridge, County Louth

Went for a walk along the Boyne canal at Oldbridge today.  First time I have ventured out since I slipped last week.  I was up at Skerries taking a few shots at the harbour.  I slipped and banged my head badly. Myself and the camera ended up in the sea.  Thankfully I wasnt too badly injured.  Bump on head and sore back for a week.  The camera (5dMark2) , unfortunately was ruined .  Placed it in the hotpress for 3 days to dry it out, but the salt water destroyed it.  Fortunately I have all my equipment insured, and Mahers Photographic in Drogheda where I get all my stuff kindly gave me a replacement till I get sorted
